Native American Open House

We got treated to a morning of show and tell of all the work Hugo's class has done on its Native American unit. They've been working hard for half a year studying, writing, building and preparing in impressive detail. "Brighly Lit Moon" (Hugo's self-given Native American name) showed us around his classroom with eagerness and pride.

Bday Boy

A great day the 22. was! Hugo received 2 fantastic LEGO sets (one Star Wars and one Harry Potter, neither of which he thought he would ever receive); a beautiful tennis racket to kick off the tennis season which started last week; and...well, I'll just say that gone are the plans to knock out the driveway to extend the lawn for we now are the proud owners of a giant basketball contraption. Happy 7th, Chachi!

Can it be???

OHHHHHHH. Now this is what I call a birthday!!
