Relenting and Jail Time

During (yet another) Mommy pins down and kisses Chachi moment, the poor little angel cries out (laughing hysterically, and smiling from ear to ear, I note):

"I RELENT!"

Other noteworthy Chachi and Peanut-isms tonight:
Referring to his squash coach (who is pregnant), when I tell him he won't have a lesson next week due to a scheduling conflict, he says: "Well, she is out of it. She IS expectant."

As we sit watching Cupcake Wars tonight (we turn to stuff like this in Daddy's absence), Peanut randomly asks: "What do they feed robbers who are in jail?"

The Year of the Dragon is particularly celebration-worthy in Chinese culture. Daddy, as he has been doing since pre-school, went to both H and P's school classrooms and talked to the children about Chinese New Year traditions, talked about the Chinese zodiac, shared dumplings and made paper poppers.

"I adore you beyond compare! My affection for you will never stop. Actually, Mama, I want to change that to: My affection for you will never cease!"
