1st Piano Recital!

What a performance! Sweet to see was how eager Hugo was to get up and play for the crowd. He had two songs on deck tonight, Church Bells and Fishing. Both he had memorized, and both he played to perfection. Most of all, he had FUN performing! Poor Boppy braved 1.5 hours of traffic but happily made it in time to hear Hugo's stage debut. We were all there to cheer Hugo on at his first recital. His first song apparently moved a baby in the audience to tears, hence the brief interruption between songs. Hugo handled this little gap gracefully, just smiling through until the storm passed.

We feel really lucky to have such an exceptional piano teacher. Kind, talented, firm and encouraging.

Super job, Chachi!
