Merry Christmas 2009! A white and wonderful one! The 25th is drawing to a close. It was day full of laughter, gifts, good food and most of all family. Hugo awoke nice and early (to our great delight) but was so very patient, resting in bed with us. "It's just so tempting to go downstairs!" he kept saying, and so at 7:50 down he raced to gleefully find that Santa had been most generous this year. Portia awoke shortly thereafter and was equally excited by the gift-adorned tree. They were both so impressively patient while we waited for the 10 am ETA of Ama, Boppa and Aye Lynn. We started with their stockings, hanging fireside in the library and then moved on to the living room to begin gift opening. Our tradition of one-person-at-a- time gift opening is a test of patience- and they've truly mastered it! Good for you, lovies! As the footage reveals, Star Wars Legos were a serious hit. Here, the footage from a most memorable Christmas celebration. There's no way to avoid sounding trite- these angels are gift enough for 10 thousand lifetimes.
