One Day to go...

before the weeping begins! We had a breakfast celebration with all K1 families in the kindergarten classroom this morning. Somewhere between the bagels, munchkins and pancakes, a racoon was spotted in the Sacred Woods. This discovery led to a frenzied flurry of racoon alert sign making. All 100% child-driven and totally impressive to watch as they all got swept up in the exercise of determining where the racoon was hiding out, footprint detection, and sign making to make sure none of us stumbled into the racoon's path. Neat to see Peanut in with the whole gang, completely at home and one of the pack.
